Minecraft PE 26.50.24 [Beta]

Minecraft PE 26.50.24 is Beta/Preview 26.50.24 from August 5, 2026. Abandoned-camp chests now hold explorer maps to ancient cities, mineshafts, desert pyramids, warm ocean ruins and camps in other biomes. Concrete stairs and slabs land in all 16 colors. Android gets Beta; other stores get Preview. This is not the Wilderness Bound release. The last large pieces of the third 2026 drop enter the 26.50 test line here. Open the camp chest for structure maps

The campsite chest is no longer only food and scrap. An explorer map from that chest points at an Ancient City, a Mineshaft, a Desert Pyramid, Warm Ocean Ruins or an abandoned camp in another biome. It is not a “treasure map” item type: the sheet names a structure. Item icons change with the destination so a mineshaft and a pyramid are not one blank scroll. The player icon on the map keeps its heading even outside the paper edge.

Camp seeds and ready worlds sit under seeds and maps. The official layer write-up is Minecraft Preview 26.50.24. Preview 26.50.24 is the chest and the builder bench, not the loot pass from the next beta.

Sixteen colors of concrete stairs and slabs

Concrete stairs and slabs in all 16 colors enter this test client. Craft them like concrete, then take the stair or the slab. The stonecutter recipe for every color stays off this card — that line belongs to a neighbor build. Packs that touch concrete or poplar live under Add-Ons.

Poplar leaves smelt into leaf litter (MCPE-240019). In Creative, the remaining poplar items sit between mangrove and cherry, so the door and the sign are not buried at the end of the list.

Named cushions, liquids under the seat, straw-bed camera

If the block under a cushion disappears, the sitter is no longer shoved into the floor. A liquid in that space breaks the cushion. Break a named cushion and you get the named item, not a blank default. The name tag shows on the cushion. A pushing block pops it as an item. When the support collapses, break sound and particles play on the cushion.

On a straw bed the sleep camera no longer sits too high. Extra pixels and extra MERS shine left the texture — a note for anyone running texture packs, not a bed essay.

From the same pass, in brief: sulfur spikes and pointed dripstone grow at the old rate after a 25× slip; a totem syncs health; loading at (0,0,0) no longer dumps items; models hold if the network flips while you join.
