Minecraft PE 26.50.22 [Beta]

Minecraft PE 26.50.22 is Beta/Preview 26.50.22 from July 28, 2026. The Drop 3 of 2026 experiment is gone. Dappled forest and abandoned camps generate in a normal test world. Camp cushions no longer spawn inside other objects. Android gets Beta; Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and iOS get Preview. This is still the 26.50 test line, not the Wilderness Bound release. In 26.40.05 the same set sat behind a switch; this beta 26.50 is the mirror — the toggle comes off, it does not go on.

Default Drop 3, not an experimental tag anymore

A fresh Preview 26.50.22 world treats dappled forest, camps, poplar, cushions, straw beds and wool slabs as ordinary content. There is no experiment row to hunt in the create menu. Do not paste the “turn on Drop 3” steps from the 26.40.05 card: the switch is already gone. A 26.40 save that never flipped the switch will not grow the forest through chunks you already built: new terrain can carry the drop, the finished yard does not rewrite. More campsites and cushions that stay outside other blocks

Abandoned camps were rebuilt and more sites were added. Cushions in a camp no longer generate inside other objects (MCPE-240911): the seat does not clip a barrel or a stair. Poplar leaves in hand lose the black pixels on Simple with Fancy Leaves on. A shelf mushroom breaks at once if lava flows into it. Commands can no longer grant a double wool slab.

Creative order for poplar, shelves, boats and cushions is consistent; the seat group is named Cushions. Cold biomes and camps are easier from seeds and maps. Forest and wool packs live under Add-Ons.

Nether-portal death, End portal eyes, one-block water fall

Dying inside a Nether portal no longer leaves you with a Nether respawn. The ticket is the spawn point after a death in the frame, not a guaranteed trip home. The same seed no longer builds End portal frames with different counts of Eyes of Ender (MCPE-227980). A teleport command between dimensions no longer drops the entity on a random coordinate (MCPE-181173). Fall damage through one block of water used the wrong figure; that math is corrected.

This beta 26.50 does not import later preview loot. Client 26.50.22 is for a test world that no longer wears an experiment tag. Install it if you want a test world where Drop 3 already runs without a switch. The file is in Download Minecraft PE.
