Minecraft PE 26.45.01 [Full Release]

Minecraft PE 26.45.01 is the full Android 26.45 hotfix from late August 2026. No new drop content. It follows 26.44 and targets crashes, the Android Back button, lightly charged arrows, and add-on world loading. The listing on this site is dated 29 August 2026. The channel is Full Release, not Beta or Preview. Play Store copy for 26.45 only says “Various bug fixes.” The tickets below come from the shared 26.44/45 notes, not from a private list invented for the .01 string.

26.45.01 as the Android package of the 26.44/45 hotfix wave

The branch starts at stable 26.40. Hotfixes 26.41 through 26.44 landed next. Then came 26.45 and this Android package, 26.45.01. Store metadata may show the inner build as 1.26.45.1; that label belongs here, not in the title. Wilderness Bound and the 26.50 / 26.60 line stay off this page.

26.44 shipped with a public fix list. For 26.45 the platform note is short: more corrections are rolling out and each store publishes after approval. Treat the file as the phone build of that wave. Back button, Pocket UI shift-click, bow charge

On Android the Back button now performs the in-game back step instead of sending the client to the background (MCPE-241324). If 26.40 closed the whole session when you only wanted to leave a chest or a pause screen, this is the change. Install order and how the system key should behave are covered in Help.

An arrow from a slightly charged bow no longer hits the shooter (MCPE-240527). On a phone that shows up in tight corridors and at almost-zero draw: the projectile clipped the player hitbox. The 26.45 hotfix cuts that path. Fully drawn shots are not rewritten here.

In Creative Pocket UI, shift-click moves an item into a free slot instead of deleting it (MCPE-241415). On the compact hotbar that looked like a block vanishing. Non-operators also lost self-selection expansion on commands such as /tell: the selector no longer quietly includes the sender when the player has no operator rights.

Add-on disconnects and who can skip this file

Worlds with certain add-on content are less likely to kick the player during load (MCPE-241505). If a save opened and then dropped the session, install the Android package and try a copy of the world first. Those packs live under Add-Ons.

Vibrant Visuals no longer turn themselves off in a world with Education features enabled (MCPE-240476). Anyone running shaders on that pipeline will notice this sooner than a new block. For add-on authors, in one line: custom dimension bound values are read from JSON again.
