Minecraft PE 26.40.30 [Beta]

Minecraft PE 26.40.30 is Beta/Preview 26.40.30 from July 7, 2026. Drop 3 of 2026 gains the cushion and the straw bed. Camps start showing up in pale garden and flower forest. Cushions may still be missing from camp structures in this build. Android gets Beta; other stores get Preview. The Drop 3 of 2026 switch is still required. Forest and camps already lived in earlier 26.40.xx previews; this beta 26.40 is the first time the seat and the disposable bed join that experiment.

Three wool slabs, sixteen colors, no collision

A cushion crafts from 3 matching wool slabs, not six. Sixteen colors. It sits on any flat face, snaps to the grid on X/Z and rides the support on Y. It does not slide. Pull the block under it and it breaks. There is no collision: it can overlap other objects except a second cushion. The preview known issue still stands: abandoned camps may spawn without cushions. Take one from Creative or the bench. Do not import the later camp-seat fix onto this card.

Sleep once, keep your old spawn

A straw bed skips the night and leaves the spawn point alone. After the sleep it is gone. Do not use it in the Nether or the End — the bed breaks. Three hay bales craft four beds, not one. Camps in this build can already hold a straw bed even when the seat is missing from the lot. Wool and hay packs live under Add-Ons.

Pale garden camps, fog, wool recipes

Abandoned camps generate in pale garden and flower forest — two extra shelves on top of biomes that already hosted camps in earlier 26.40 builds. Client 26.40.30 will not stamp a camp into an old chunk by itself: without the toggle the garden stays a garden. Trees on the pad are procedural. Potion names in camp loot were corrected. Seeds for those biomes sit under seeds and maps.

In the dappled forest, fog moves closer to other woodlands. Leaf textures, poplar-leaf and red-shrub sounds, opaque poplar leaves, door-hinge icons, the poplar sign and wool slab/stair recipes all get a pass. From the same file, briefly: a book and quill from a pre-26.30 world no longer hangs the client; mushrooms will not place under open night sky; azalea no longer shows through from below; items stop vanishing in Vibrant Visuals on Android.

Install this beta 26.40 if you want to sit and skip a night without moving spawn before the store build. Client 26.40.30 is a seat test behind the toggle, not the 26.40.05 store release. July previews sit under News. The file is in Download Minecraft PE.
