Minecraft PE 26.40.26 [Beta]

Minecraft PE 26.40.26 is Beta/Preview 26.40.26 from June 17, 2026. Boats take fewer hits to break and regenerate damage, matching Java. Music starts in lush caves, meadows, stony and frozen peaks, snowy slopes and swamps. Sulfur cubes no longer absorb observers or redstone lamps. Android gets Beta; other stores get Preview. The build sits between Chaos Cubed (26.30, June 16) and the first Drop 3 beta (26.40.27, June 23). There is no third drop in this client.

Boat durability lines up with Java

A boat breaks in fewer hits (MCPE-62683) and regenerates accrued damage — both lines match Java. That is vanilla Preview 26.40, not a forest experiment. Six days later 26.40.27 opens Drop 3; this card is not that premiere. If you only want the boat and a swamp track, client 26.40.26 is enough. Six biomes get music

Tracks play in six places: Lush Caves, Meadow, Stony Peaks, Snowy Slopes, Frozen Peaks and Swamps. Do not append extra biomes. Swamp, peak and lush-cave seeds sit under seeds and maps. The furnace screen also speaks: tabs, toggles and smelting slots. TNT smoke is thinner, closer to Java (MCPE-239135). Fences in villages, woodland mansions and ancient cities connect to their neighbors.

Observer stays outside the cube, projectiles bounce off creative mode

Observer and redstone lamp left the sulfur cube’s slow bouncy archetype — the cube no longer swallows them. Sulfur spike height is capped. A cube that already ate a block now deflects projectiles. That is cube behavior after 26.30, not a second tour of sulfur caves. Packs for the cube and the observer live under Add-Ons.

A player in Creative deflects projectiles. The Ender Dragon does the same while perching (MCPE-44493). A deflected shot no longer bounces too early. From the same pass, briefly: the recipe book no longer hides the hovered item under the search bar; projectiles are not a solid color with Texture Streaming; a green outline on distant blocks in Vibrant Visuals on Android is gone; bed icons match the block. PlayStation split-screen with a local host account lets the second player in again. Shaders and streaming sit under shaders, backup before a beta in Help. Install this beta 26.40 after 26.30 if boats lasted too long or the swamp sat silent. Client 26.40.26 is boats and tracks, not the forest premiere. The file is in Download Minecraft PE.
