Minecraft PE 26.31.01 [Full Release]

Minecraft PE 26.31.01 is the full Android 26.31 hotfix from June 19, 2026, three days after Chaos Cubed. Joining an Experience with Screen Animations off should no longer hang on the loading screen. An upward dispenser fires again. Mojang posted the notes on June 22. Full Release, not Beta. No new drop blocks. The phone file landed first; the bullet list followed three days later. The list exists. Three days without a Feedback article is not an empty patch.

June 19 APK, June 22 changelog

26.30 shipped June 16. Android got 26.31.01 on June 19. The 26.31 Hotfix Changelog article is dated June 22. This is not a silent build with no meaning: the package was already on devices while the write-up caught up. Do not invent “they fixed whatever people complained about” and do not paste 26.32 lines about a 30 FPS lock or Book and Quill. Screen Animations off, Experiences stuck loading

With Screen Animations off, joining an Experience hung on the loading screen. After client 26.31.01 that same toggle should not pin the spinner. This is not a sulfur-cave patch from the 26.30 release — caves belong on seeds for that drop, not this hotfix. Experience worlds sit under Add-Ons. A world with no Experience and no upward dispenser may not notice this hotfix. If the join still spins, backup and client swap are in Help.

Upward dispenser, slower servers, Switch guests

A projectile from an upward-facing dispenser would not leave the block (MCPE-239709). After 26.31.01 the vertical barrel fires again. Slower server connectivity closed as MCPE-239705 — that is not a promise that ping improved for everyone. Several gameplay crashes closed in one sentence.

On Switch they also fixed split-screen guest ID collisions (MCPE-239681) and a main-menu crash (MCPE-238647). On Android those are a side note, not the lead. Install full client 26.31.01 right after 26.30 if an Experience will not open with animations off or a dispenser faces the sky.
