Minecraft PE 1.26.11.01 [Full Release]
Minecraft 1.26.11.01 just dropped as a targeted emergency patch. If you’re playing on Windows and your crosshair was flying across the screen with the slightest wrist movement, this update saves your aim. Mojang fixed the mouse sensitivity regression that crept into the 1.26.10.x branch, making DPI scaling behave normally again. Just one fix, but it unbreaks PvP and building precision for PC players. Android users get this version number too for parity, but the actual code changes target Windows input handling.
| Category | Fix Details |
|---|---|
| Input | Corrected mouse sensitivity calculation on Windows devices. Eliminated the 1.5–2.0x multiplier bug that caused raw input to overshoot expected cursor travel distance. DPI scaling now properly respects Windows system settings and in-game sensitivity sliders (0–200% range). Fixes applied to both fullscreen and windowed modes. |
Translation: You can finally build pixel-perfect bridges and land bow shots without dropping your mouse DPI to 400. The “one millimeter = 180° spin” nightmare is over.
The sensitivity regression primarily affected:
If you found yourself setting in-game sensitivity to 5% just to aim normally, this patch reverts that nonsense.
Version 1.26.10.04 introduced a change in Win32Platform::updateMousePos that double-applied the Windows GetMouseMovePointsEx delta calculation. Essentially, the game added raw input deltas on top of Windows’ already-accelerated cursor position, creating exponential speed curves. 1.26.11.01 forces the engine to choose either raw input OR Windows cursor API, not both. Sensitivity sliders now map linearly: 100% = your actual DPI, 150% = 1.5x multiplier (as expected).
STABLE HOTFIX: This is a full release, not a beta. Windows players should install immediately—your muscle memory depends on it. Android users get this version too (build number parity), but no gameplay changes apply to mobile. Worlds are 100% safe; this touches only input handling code. No need to backup for this specific patch, but doing so never hurts.
