Minecraft PE 1.26.10.26 [Beta] — Master Librarian Candle Trades & Invisible Sheep Fix
Fresh Minecraft Preview 1.26.10.26 just dropped for Android. This is a surgical micro-update: one new trade item and four targeted bugfixes. Master-level Librarians now sell red and orange candles, baby humanoid mobs stopped wearing balloon-sized heads, and sheep are visible again instead of turning into ghostly hitboxes. Backup your worlds—this is still unstable Preview territory.
The Single New Feature
Master Librarian Candle Stock: Librarians who reach Master tier now offer red and orange candles in their trade list. Previously, candles were only available via crafting or looting. Now you can buy them for emeralds once you’ve grinded the villager to max level. Note: the “Expert → Master” leveling path was broken in 1.26.10.25—now it actually works, so you can reach that Master tier and unlock the candles.
4 Bug Fixes — Heads, Villagers, Textures

| Trading | Librarians can actually level up from Expert to Master now. A data validation bug was blocking the final tier unlock, trapping librarians at Expert forever. Candles are now accessible. |
| Textures | Sheep no longer render with invisible textures (missing wool layers). You can see their color patterns again instead of floating empty hitboxes. Fixes applied to all wool variants. |
Translation: Your rainbow sheep farm looks like a farm again, not a collection of ghost sheep. Librarian breeders can finally push their traders to Master and stock up on colored candles for builds.
Technical Notes
Minor backend adjustments to minecraft:villager_trade_tier validation and ClientEntity head bone scaling. No API breaking changes for add-ons, but resource packs modifying sheep wool UVs should double-check their atlases—Mojang patched the texture slot assignments.
BETA WARNING: This is a Preview build. The villager leveling fix is experimental—trade replenishment may still glitch in multiplayer. Sheep visibility fix requires chunk reloads to apply to existing worlds. Save your backups before installing; 1.26.10.26 uses the same experimental protocol as previous 1.26.10 builds.
