Minecraft 1.18.0.22 (Test version)
In Minecraft 1.18.0.22, the developers introduced sculk blocks. Unfortunately, these are currently only accessible through the creative inventory and do not include all the planned features. Additionally, a new experimental mode and gameplay fixes await you.
What’s New in Minecraft PE 1.18.0.22
A new experimental features mode called Vanilla Experiments has been added in Minecraft PE 1.18.0.22. When activated, the following content will be available in the game:
- Goat horns
- Sculk blocks
- Updated world generation for older user maps
So, sculk blocks have been introduced in Minecraft for Android. If you recall, they will be found in one of the biomes in the upcoming update:
- Sculk – a decorative block with no current use
- The sensor – has the ability to impose a darkness effect, but is not yet fully functional
- The vein – can be placed on any section of the block
- The catalyst – upon the death of a mob, adjacent blocks will transform into sculk
Here are the updates and fixes that await you in Minecraft Pocket Edition for Android:
- A new soundtrack has been added to the main menu (available for download from the Store)
- A new music disc has been introduced – it can be found rarely in chests
- The old generation has been removed from Minecraft
- In version 1.17.40, old maps will be restricted
- Old worlds can still be launched, but without the features of the 1.18 test versions
- Glowing blocks can no longer be destroyed by TNT explosions or creepers in Minecraft 1.18.0.22
- The generation of glowing lichen at the bottoms of water bodies and on surfaces has been removed
- Fortresses will no longer generate in large caves
- Magma blocks can now also generate in aquifers
