New beta releases from Mojang often come with their share of bugs. The latest test version, Minecraft 1.16.230.54, addresses several issues you may have encountered during gameplay.

As always, we will highlight the key fixes in Minecraft PE 1.16.230.54:
Fixed the attachment of leads to axolotls
Resolved the bug with unknown items in the creative inventory
Adjusted the location of slate in creative mode
Slate bricks now have the correct breaking time
Water and lava now drop more frequently from stalactites in MCPE
Corrected overlay textures for stalactites
Added the ability to generate glowing lichen in cave water bodies
Fixed a crash caused by lichen placement on blocks
Resolved the issue with leashes attaching to glowing squids
Silk Touch enchantment now functions correctly in Minecraft on Android when harvesting hanging roots
Implemented a fix for moss, allowing it to grow upwards when fertilized
Other types of vegetation can now appear when fertilizing moss on a block
Added the ability to grow a full tree from azalea when fertilized
Leather armor for horses can now protect the animal from freezing in Minecraft
Mobs that prefer to dwell near fire will now take increased damage from cold
Fixed cold damage issues for bears, snow golems, and ice golems
If a character is wearing leather boots and lands on loose snow with a height of 2.5 blocks, they will sink into it.
Blocks of snow will begin to melt when exposed to fire from mobs.
Frozen creatures will shiver from the cold, starting from Minecraft version 1.16.230.54.
The fog effect from powdered snow has been correctly implemented – this has been fixed.
Moss blocks have been added to chests found on sunken ships.
Villagers will trade dripstone blocks.
Axolotls and glowing squids will now spawn at depths starting from 30 blocks.
The display of texture auras for charged creepers has been fixed.
A bug that prevented paintings from appearing on walls has been resolved.
