Minecraft 1.16.230.50 (Test version)
While Minecraft 1.16.230.50 may not introduce as many new features as the previous beta, there are still some updates to explore. In addition to the new content, the developers have fixed a significant number of bugs, particularly those related to plants and blocks from the last beta version.
What’s New in Minecraft PE 1.16.230.50
The Minecraft for Android now includes glowing lichen. Although it doesn’t provide a very bright light source, it can illuminate areas within caves. To harvest it, you will need shears, and to encourage its growth, use bone meal. Additionally, it can be utilized in a composter.
The developers have also made improvements for Android devices. Here are the fixes and enhancements you can expect in this test version:
- the ability to connect a keyboard and mouse has been introduced for version 8 and above
- the crosshair alignment issue has been resolved
- fixed the game session termination problem
- screen resolution-related issues have been addressed
- network connectivity problems have been resolved
- eliminated the black screen issue underwater on certain devices
- added the option to export structure blocks from this platform
Here are some additional fixes in Minecraft Bedrock Edition:
- resolved a bug that caused loose snow blocks to drop during explosions
- fixed the smelting process in the furnace
- centered the animation for the character consuming food
- using shields in different hands of the character is now fully symmetrical
- corrected the pattern error on the loom
- adjusted the number of copper tiles obtained from the stone cutter
- fixed the acquisition of leaves from regular and flowering azaleas
- implemented the ability to fertilize moss blocks using a dispenser
- corrected the composting of roots
- modified the growth rate of stalactites
- now, using shovels on dirt blocks with roots will create a grass block
- bees now pollinate azalea bushes
- silk touch enchantment applied to cave vines will yield glowing berries
- resolved a critical bug that caused users to get stuck on the screen when canceling world joining.
