Download Minecraft PE 26.50.27 [Beta]

Minecraft PE 26.50.27 is Beta/Preview 26.50.27 from August 25, 2026 — the sixth and final test build of Bedrock 26.50. Mojang did not publish a fresh itemized feature list for this number. The notes sit on top of the 26.50.26 changelog as extra behind-the-scenes fixes. On Android and ChromeOS the package is Beta; on Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and iOS it is Preview. iOS for the same wave landed on August 24, 2026. This page is not the September 2026 Wilderness Bound release.

Final 26.50 Preview, not a content drop of its own

The 26.50 branch has already been testing the dappled forest, poplar, abandoned camps, cushions, straw beds and concrete stairs. This last Preview does not introduce that set. Those pieces were already in earlier 26.50 builds. Reading 26.50.27 as the announcement of the forest is the wrong frame.

When this cycle ends, the next test line on the site is 26.60.xx — not a surprise mob pack inside the same 26.50 number. Branch write-ups live under News. Worlds and seeds for the forest and camps came from earlier previews: maps and seeds.

Why the changelog is glued to 26.50.26

There is no standalone bullet list for .27. The public notes are one article, Minecraft Beta & Preview — 26.50.26/27. A short August 25 update sits at the top; the 26.50.26 changelog stays underneath. The wording for this pass is “additional fixes and improvements” and “a few more important fixes behind the scenes.” Open notes do not attach exclusive ticket IDs to .27, so this card will not invent them.

Install this beta or stay on a stable client

Install the client 26.50.27 if you already run the 26.50 test line and want the last package before the line moves. Check add-on worlds on a copy first: Add-Ons. Backup steps before a final Preview are in Help.

This final Preview is not a phone-control hotfix in the 26.45 sense; it only closes the 26.50 test cycle. If the phone should stay on a full release without the experimental drop, skip this beta. Stable 26.50 is not this page. Anyone who only wanted to walk the forest and camps could already do that on 26.50.24–26.50.26; the final 26.50 Preview is optional for that tour.
