A preliminary release of updates and bug fixes for Minecraft has been announced. The 1.15 update will be released on December 10, addressing all these issues.
Changes in 1.15
The button highlighting will be modified to help players better distinguish the selected option.
Chunk rendering has been optimized.
Explosion quality has been improved.
Recipes have been altered to align more closely with Minecraft Bedrock.
An update for resource pack usage is included.
Dark prismarine can now be crafted using black dye (previously it required ink sacs).
The burn time of wood used as fuel has been increased.
There are now 5 versions of resource packs available.
Outdated resource packs will function as effectively as possible.
Bug Fixes in 1.15
The redstone comparator remained active if the input signal turned off before the side signal.
Leashes with animals in unloaded chunks would break or disappear entirely.
Issues occurred when synchronizing the redstone comparator.
Blocks were loading incorrectly or not rendering at all.
The comparator was destroyed due to a gap.
Name tags created by players on their pets were ignored if the entity was destroyed after 200 ticks.
Name tags were also disregarded when merging entities.
Crashes occurred while using outdated resource packs.
Rendering appeared on two blocks less than what was set in the game settings.
Leaves were treated as a solid surface where additional leaves could be placed.
The background of the achievements menu overlapped with notifications.
In Minecraft version 1.14.4, pillagers continued to spawn in villages.
The dragon had flickering textures.
Berry bushes slowed down players.
Falling through cobwebs granted a significant speed boost.
When mobs slid over honey blocks, tooltip messages indicated that they left trails.
The command /fill created block entities not for all blocks of that type, but only for one.
For invisible entities, transparent body parts appeared black when viewed by the player in spectator mode.
The /playsound command was sending incorrect messages to users.
Activated TNT would automatically shift one block to the west.
Items became extremely dark when placed on the ground.
Items located on boats, minecarts, or other entities appeared very dark when their hitbox intersected with solid blocks.
Block hitboxes are no longer rendered behind transparent blocks.
Transparent block elements are no longer visible behind other transparent blocks.
Bees instantly returned to their hives upon leaving them.
Objects were rendered too dark when situated on soul sand or snow blocks.
When the flight altitude changed, some objects appeared excessively dark.
The designs and patterns on shields were not updated to match the new texture packs.
Zombie pigman spawn eggs used for creating a new entity did not produce baby zombie pigmen.
Achievement items overlapped with text in the achievements menu.
When magma cubes or slimes touched the ground, their glow became dimmer.
In command block1, an initial command starting with a slash generated an error but continued to function.
The achievement “Bees are our guests” was triggered only when a player right-clicked on a hive while holding more than one bottle.
Blocks falling through an open and closed shulker caused lag.
Creatures that reside in water remain stationary when positioned below sea level.
When a block falls onto another (for instance, onto a sand block) without any blocks beneath it, the fallen block does not break apart.
