Minecraft 1.16.220.52 (Test version)
At this time, in Minecraft 1.16.220.52, there will be no enhancements to cave generation. However, the game has introduced new blocks and various features. Additionally, as is customary, numerous bugs have been fixed.
What’s New in Minecraft PE 1.16.220.52
In the latest test version, unfortunately, there are no significant enhancements in cave generation. However, the world range of Minecraft PE 1.16.220.52 has been expanded once again. This time, it extends 64 blocks downward. Now, all underground structures will generate at coordinates down to -64 on the Y-axis.
The following blocks, items, and plants have been introduced in MCP:
- Spore Blossom;
- Moss;
- Moss Carpet;
- Two types of Azalea;
- Cave Vines;
- Glow Berries;
- Azalea Leaves (two variants);
- Rooted Dirt;
- Roots;
- Leafy Blocks.
Cave Vines will serve as ladders for the character, allowing them to climb. Additionally, berries can be grown on the vines, and they can also be used to breed foxes. Plus, let’s not forget that they are edible.

The majority of updates in the Minecraft Bedrock Edition focus on copper blocks and lightning rods:
- texture fixes have been made for copper ore blocks;
- the crafting recipe for copper ingots from waxed blocks has been removed;
- waxed copper blocks can now be processed using a stone cutter;
- there is now an option to remove wax from blocks using a furnace;
- patina can now be removed with an axe;
- oxidation can be cleared from nearby copper blocks by a lightning strike on the lightning rod;
- a bug where blocks held with a lightning rod could not be broken has been fixed;
- particles for copper blocks have been introduced.
Additionally:
- updated the sound effects for ink sacs during use;
- fixed button scaling issues after activating mods;
- resolved the profile switching bug;
- implemented a fix for the character’s hand swaying animation;
- corrected the fog display in the Nether for certain resource packs;
- fixed the animation error when a drowned throws a trident;
- eliminated crashes when entering a portal while using a potion.
